![]() ![]() I would give it a 7/10 overall, maybe 6.5/10 if I was a little harsher. ![]() To summarize, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a charming title but it unfortunately falls short when it comes to the quantity of content. For a $15 purchase, people tend to expect the game to have a plot long enough to at least drive their motivation for about 5+ hours. Now, do I have any criticism for the game? Of course I do. Hats! There are so many cute hats! You can even turn Turnip Boy bald, quite literally!.Simple combat system very easy to pick up, even for my hooman friend, who doesn’t really enjoy action games most of the time.Funny plot with memes left and right as you explore the map and dungeons. To put it nicely together, here are some things I particularly like about the game: Monty has a shop set up outside of the station. Turnip Boy meets Conductor Onion at Sunshine Station. This will gain an infinite use ticket to the Limitless Line. ![]() The good thing about the minions is that getting rid of them gives you health sometimes, especially when you’re doing the Sunset Station Limitless Line, these little healing may just be enough to keep you alive a little longer. To access the Limitless Line the player must check their mailbox after beating any Mayor Onion boss variant (essentially clearing the game with any ending). It was a bizarre adventure from what I recall. Along the journey uncover what’s spoiling this garden community and rise to tear down the corrupt vegetable governmentA thrilling, single-player adventure full of tax evasion, petty crimes and more.Dungeons full of puzzles, enemies and rare treasures to pay back your debt.Battle massive beasts that terrorize the garden community. I found the title of the game baffling in a way it did not sound like a game the first time I read it. Avoid paying taxes, solve plantastic puzzles, harvest crops and battle massive beasts all in a journey to tear. This game caught my eye and it’s called Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. turnip boy commits tax evasion limitless line. The basic premise of the game is that you (a turnip), didnt pay taxes and are now evicted which in itself is a hilarious concept i wouldve never expected from a game tbh. After seeing this gamepass addition and reading the describtion i hopped on my xbox and started playing it from start to finish in one sitting (which isnt really that long but most modern games simply fail to capture my attention with useless mechanics or other imho unneeded stuff.)Gameplay is kept really simple and so were the graphics but thats a great thing because this simplicity suits the game so the player can focus on the bizarre storyline. The plot itself willingly uses alot of cliches and a surprising amount of contemporary pop culture references without coming off as cringe, its more of a parody or even a critique of the whole thing.Story can be completed fairly quick with accessibility options like "godmode" (that doesnt affect achievements btw) available from the start.Achievement wise this is also pretty easy going but at the moment it seems 2 are unobtainable but the dev seems to be aware of the issue and works on a fix.I looked through my hooman friend’s library of games and was wondering which game to review next. ![]()
